Throughout my photographic career, my work has been underpinned by the act of research though not in conventional acamedic ways. I began collecting vernacular and functional imagery at a young age and over the course of two decades, amassed my own archive of images - I describe my working method as like wearing a magnetic suit " or "like rolling in the grass and seeing what you pick up on your jumper.”
